Culgaith village is situated between Penrith & Appleby, close to the River Eden & the Settle to Carlisle Railway.
From Junction 40 follow the A66 towards Scotch Corner for 6 miles, take the turn off for Temple Sowerby. The first left off this road with take you to Culgaith, The Black Swan is in the centre of the village.

Edensoaring is a group which has recently affiliated to the the British Gliding Association, but which has a history of gliding in the Lake District and Eden valley area for over 30 years ( as Eden Soaring Society). We are fortunate in having a solid core group of experienced soaring pilots as well as contacts with other clubs, particularly in the North East and Scotland.
