At the Black Swan we pride ourselves on using the very best of Cumbrian Produce using local cheese, meat & homegrown vegetables
Our Cumbrian Cheese Board hosts a wide range of local Cheeses along with fantastic Guest cheeses from around the country, all of our pork, beef, lamb, chicken & game are from local farmers and shoots within a 15 mile radius of the pub.
Head Chef & Owner Richard designs our Menu, providing our customers a choice of traditional homemade pub favourites such as Homemade Beer Battered Fish n Chips & Locally sourced Bangers & Mash of the Day to modern British food for example Home Cured Salmon, cured in Vodka & Juniper Berry Served with fresh Brown Bread or Locally Sourced Gressingham Duck Breast on Creamy Garlic mashed Potatoes with a Port & Damson Jus
